Aayush Mohan is today considered one of the finest Sarod players on the global scenario of Indian Classical music. Along with his brother, Sitar Player Lakshay Mohan, the two are known as Mohan Brothers and are the first Indians to perform at the Grammy Museum, Los Angeles for the opening of 'Ravi Shankar: A Life in Music'. After listening to the Jugalbandi of Lakshay Mohan and Aayush Mohan in 2012, Pandit Ravi Shankar decided to launch them for their debut USA tour under his foundation. Some of his prominent performances around the globe include:Symphony Space New York City, Berklee College Boston, The Egg Performing Arts Centre Albany, Musical Instruments Museum Phoenix, Central Conservatory of Music Beijing, India Fine Arts Academy San Diego, Thyaghraja Festival Cleveland, Learn Quest Music Conference Boston, Sawai Gandharva Festival Pune, Harivallabh Sangeet Sammelan Jalandhar, Gunidas Sangeet Sammelan Mumbai, Saptak Festival Ahmedabad, Vishnu Digambar Jayanti Samaroh Delhi, Tansen Samaroh Gwalior, Taj Mahotsav Agra, Ganga Mahotsav Varanasi and many more. Aayush Mohan has been nominated for GIMA award for "Best Classical Instrumentalist". Aayush is a grand-disciple of Bharat Ratna Pt. Ravi Shankar. He has been trained by senior Gurus of Senia-Maihar Gharana: Pt. Balwant Rai Verma, Padmabhushan Smt. Sharan Rani, Pt. Tejendra Narayan Majumdar and Padmashri Gundecha Brothers. He has many albums to his credit including “The Majestic court”, “Echoes From the Yellow Land”, "The Hidden Harmony" and many more. His music is available on all digital platforms including iTunes and Apple Music. In March 2022, Aayush performed at the Royal Festival Hall, Southbank centre London for "The Ravi Shankar centenary" led by Anoushka Shankar. It also featured John Maclaughlin, Dhani Harrison and other eminent musicians.
